I’m far from an expert, but this is my bantam Cochin roo. He’s about a year, but his neck/hackle feathers look far pointier than on yours. I think you’d see some of that developing by 5 months, my guess is hen!
He is a gorgeous guy too!
Yeah I have to agree with you. I can't for the life of me remember if he has the roo feathers or not and I just saw him! (Pregnancy brain)![]()
I completely understand, I’m also pregnant at the moment. You’re going to know soon one way or the other though...if he/she is squatting, usually means an egg is imminent!![]()
Just so you guys know I have 3 young cockerals that squat for me at the moment so this behavior is not unheard of in roos![]()
