I'm Stumped!

The Silkie could still be a pullet. My Silkie hen developed a comb like that at 10 months and did not lay till 12 months. Also, I don't see any streamers on that silkie. It could be a pullet, 6 month cockerels that haven't developed yet is pretty rare in sikies but not unheard of.

I have never heard of a rooster squatting and never had one squat for me. Are you sure they aren't pullets Flockandfowl46? If they are cockerels then I learned something new today... Do you have any pictures?

True, I don't see any streamers on him but for sure have a paint roo that does have streamers and a big comb (doesn't crow yet though and he's around 5-6months)
Silkies are the toughest yet for me to figure out, but this one is a booger!
