They shouldn't be eating any treats harder than hard boiled egg without grit. The chick crumbles are small enough to digest without it. Sorry about your chick though.

dont try to force food down. it can aspirate . offer some scrambled eggs and you can buy a product called nutra drench . it is a liquid vitamin . just a drop on the side of the beak . Check their stools for blood "cocci" and make sure temps are correct.

Unfortunately Nibbles has passed away. I really don't know what happened. It's my first time raising chicks but my mum has been raising since she was very little. I really hope the rest of the chicks will be okay
