Look what I found in the nest yesterday!!!

The brown egg is from one of my black sex-links and the white egg is a store-bought jumbo egg. (Sorry it's blurry...camera phone)

That's the biggest one we've gotten yet!!

Nope. Didn't crack it yet. Still in awe...(Poor chicken. Not sure who layed it...couldn't find one walking funny.

My Black Stars lay a large egg. A good 3 oz egg that is a single yolker so don't be surprised if it is a single yolk though I have gotten a few double yolkers from the Black Stars and they were small 2.5 oz. This is one breed I think I will always keep. Great conversion and my customers love, love, love their large eggs!

My GSL has been laying Duck sized eggs lately too! They won't fit in a large egg carton. I have 2 or three of them now I think.

i was in the coop one day my one RIR laid a jumbo double yolker, boy did she make some noise!

it wouldnt fit in the carton.
