Impacted Crop?!

Our black sex-link has been ill - lethargic, droopy comb & loss of appetite - for the last few days. I thought it was from the heat, so I was going to bring her inside to cool off. When I almost had her to the house, she began to vomit water. Since then, she "leaks" water every time she bends over to eat or drink. She also seems bloated, but that might just be my imagination. Her crop seems very large and is now losing feathers on it. Does it sound like an impacted crop? An ideas? Many thanks!

Are you talking about "leaking" from the mouth? Please go to the FAQ page and read up on impacted and sour crop. You should be able to find all the info you need.

If this is impacted crop it may be advanced, possibly 'sour crop" Is there a bad smell?

But if she is vomiting, you need to search for sour crop to determine the extent.
