I have a pearl grey guinea hen with a large red and bleeding protrusion from the rear area. It seems to be crusted at the end. How do I fix this to help her out?

Sounds like a prolapse (usually from straining to lay an egg), and you may be able to gently clean it and push it it back in, then keep her still/quiet for a couple days and she may be fine. If it prolapses again tho you may need to take her to a vet, or put her down. The other birds may start pecking at it if is left hanging out, and she also runs the risk of getting an infection. Do a BYC search in the chicken section for prolapse, there should be some good info/suggestions on how to deal with it/treat it.
