LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one not being totally forthcoming with their husbands! He thinks I ordered 25... I ordered 37. Oh the look on his face will be priceless.

I've got blue bantam cochins and light brahma bantam chicks at my po right now waiting for me...I'm just waiting for my little one to wake up (any minute)...and I still haven't told my DH that I ordered them! I'm sooo busted!

THEY MADE IT! They came this morning.

Only one died during shipping. Flattened. No pasty butts. All appear to be drinking and gorging themselves. I'll post pics soon.

BTW: Hubby was a little shocked at how many. He said they must throw extra in there. I just smiled and nodded.

I just went and picked mine up at the po...from Ideal. All arrived in perfect health, no DOA, very healthy. Plus, they threw in 8 extras...look like BOs. So I'm gonna try to re-home those guys asap...I don't need those, that's for sure.

Oh I'm so glad to hear that your chickies finally arrived!

Oh my god just as I finished typing that sentence the PO just called to tell me that mine have arrived!!!!!! I've got goosebumps allover! I could just pee myself I'm so excited. Okay that's just going a bit too far but I can't wait.

Well the one is sideways but you get the idea... First time he's held, heck! even seen a chick! He was picking them up like a pro within a couple hours. So cute!

BTW I'm so glad everyone's chicks are in and healthy!!!
