i've studied chickens for 3 years and i know quite a bit about them (but much less compared to some of you people that has had chickens for decades!)

If you feel good about it, go for it. But the breeders working with you might be discouraged by your age. And don't tell them that you lick squirrels.
ya breeders most probably will, but Minesotachickenbreeder was ok with me being a minor when i thought up a breeding project that was similar to the one he was working on. but my eggs that i was incubating died, and i forgot about the breeding program.
but at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
