Pic of the shed. It doesn't show the wooded area but as you can see the grass around it is mowed and only close cover is a wood pile and the field behind. Will maybe try to get a pic of the wooded area later.

I have a similar set up, your is much bigger, mines a 40x40 pole shed. I also keep goats and donkeys in the same shed, the donkeys especially help with predators. Though they aren't 100% reliable.

They don't have access to the whole thing. I sectioned off the 20x30 area thats on the left. Still working on a chicken door but for now they are stil using the main door or sliding door.

Here's mine, they don't have a chicken door either, there's an open doorway that faces east, and the goat door faces south with a flap. The large slider is open all summer and closed in the winter. I have a section for hay storage, a goat area, and a couple of chicken pens I can close up if I need to, like when I move young birds out. It's nice to have such a large shed with options.

Work on getting birds to roost up, ideally 6 feet or so if you can with birds lined up in rows that facilitates counting at night. Look into making so critter like raccons can not climb up to roost.. Get a far dog or two and have live in barn. Look into ways for collecting feces produced at night so you can remove it before it has time to build up.
