So, many months later, I have healthy adult chickens. The white one turned out to be a rooster. One of the hens has successfully hatched 3 chicks.
And they still puppy pile.
They do eventually get on the roosts, because they're there in the morning. But every night, a little chicken pile forms, rooster on the bottom.
I have odd chickens.
