This little thing is fantastic! Let's you track the temp and humidity wherever you put it. Mine is in my coop and with the temps lately I'm impressed with the inside temps, staying at or below outside temp

What do you have in plans to cool the chickens when it gets extreme??? Friends in Arizona use swamp coolers, and misters.

It doesn't get much hotter than this here. They get frozen wet mash, ice cold water, frozen water jugs, and plenty of shade
