First timers we were in 2022. Have learned a lot and still so much to learn. Like finding out one of your hens is really a Roo... When we bought our home the first 2 years we acquainted ourselves with the property which is 5 ac. Observed our neighbors who have chickens, a horse, many goats, a donkey, pigs and loving that we could enjoy all from our screened porch. LOL
Then after 2 years we were ready to have chickens, the thought of fresh eggs and possibly having chicks to raise a dream come true. Did a lot of research and found this site but had no idea of the type of questions to ask. til now... So we have joined the community!
