Can you just give me info on the button quail. Is it easy to take care for, is it loud, how much space does one need, how many I should get, how to take care for them as babies, can I just put them in a bird cage, can they live outside, what type of feed do they eat, can I hold them, and are they expensive, things like that.

They are failry easy to take care.. I dont feel they are loud they do make their calls to eachother, the only time mine get what i would consider LOUD is when I take one away from the others , they will call to eachother nonstop...I would say 3-5 to start 1 male to atleast two females... They are a communtiy bird so like to be with their own kind.. You can keep them in an aquarium at the bottom of an avairy etc.. Mine live in a 50 gallon tank... I only have two as one male drowned... But have 5 babies that will be going in with them in a few weeks... I feed Turkey/Gamebird feed.. its 24% protien... Buttons do not like to be held.. They are very flighty and difficcult to catch.. They are more of a look and listen pet then a pick and cuddle one... They are failry inexpensive.. i paid 10.00 for three last year.. so about $3-4 each is average...

Where are you located ?? I am selling a few buttons soon..
