Now that you have had time to evaluate your coop/run design, list some things that you would have added or done differently. Running water, electricity, nest boxes accessible from the outside, concrete floor, etc. Maybe this thread will help some who are still in the design phase of their coop.

Mine needs cup/beer holder.

My ladder style roost is at too steep an angle. The lower rungs (and sometimes the birds sitting on them) get poo-ed on.

It'll be easy enough to modify, next time I clean the coop.

Bigger, covered nest boxes, more nest boxes, more roosts, a storage space to put feed and bedding so they can't roost/poop/lay on them, electricity, water, and taller(so I don't bump my head in the middle of winter with deep litter)

but I already know I would like to add about 15 acres of land.....in another area instead of being stuck in a subdivision!!

That would probably add quite a bit to the overall cost but I already know I want roosters and more chickens! BUT I'm limited by being in a subdivision and already sneaking in under the radar!

Seriously, I need to rip off the chicken wire and replace with hardware cloth (waiting on slightly cooler weather) and I'd like to add another set of wheels so you don't have to tilt it to move.

And it still needs painting.
