In need of rehoming 5 chickens

Hi! This is more of a general questions under selling/rehoming chickens. I live in the Dallas Texas area and i’m looking for a good home for my chickens. Unfortunately i am moving so that is why im needing to rehome them. Does anyone in the Texas area know any farms that could possibly take them in? Or if there’s any other suggestions on how to find the best home for them. Thankyou.

Post them in the Texas thread of "Where am I? Where are You?" as mentioned above. Also, be sure to edit the subject title of your posting both here and in that forum by putting your DFW Texas location in there to help pinpoint potential new home.

Photos plus a description of gender/breed/age are always helpful. What are your expectations about a new home (pure pets? other?)? Are you able/willing to split up your flock to find them new homes? Are you willing to travel with your chicken(s) to meet a new owner part of the way? Would you have supplies, feed or even a coop (for sale or free) that a new owner could use? Do you have a deadline for needing to re-home your flock?

Not sure if there is a FB group for DFW chicken folks but that could be another way to get the word out. As folks always love to say: 'wish I could take one/them but I don't have space in my current setup now....' . Best of luck in finding good homes for your chickens.

What breeds are the hens? I am near Fort Worth and one of my hens just passed.
