In need of some more tips

Hi, I am trying to trim one of my hen’s butt because there’s some poop stick on the feathers but she doesn’t seem to stay still. Do you have any suggestions on what I could do? Thank you!

Try wrapping her around he body and wings in a large towel. That normally keeps them pretty calm.

Try wrapping her in a towel or get a helper to hold her for you.

You don't need to cut the feathers.
You can break the poo between your forefinger and thumb.....gloves are good at this point.
If you're having problem keeping her still and calm, do it at night while she's on her perch.

I currently have a hen who has some stuck poop on her behind and I would like to get it off. I have tried putting a towel on her to calm her down, and trying to use a rag to wipe it off. She doesn't sit still. Is there anything else I could do? I am almost wanting to try going out there at night time and trying to get it off.

When you say you wrapped her in the towel was she completely covered?
You could try coconut oil. Did you use a wet rag?

When I wrapped her in the towel everything was covered but her head. I tried using a wet rag but she kept moving and walking away.

Cover her whole body including head in a towel with her bum out. If you have two ppl, one to hold her the other to remove the poop it would be easier. If not just hold her down in your lap and wipe it off

Put her in the towel again, tip her over on your lap (you sitting down with her belly up) get some scissors and give her a trim!

It will remote current problem, and prevent future problems until she molts ...

I agree about the wrap her up , like a baby wings tightly swaddled , but i would dunk her in rear end warm water,

Chicken skin is really thin so unless you have blunt scissors or she is really still it could go badly,

Soak her and work it off , dry her and done
