Sadly, We are down to one chicken of the original 4. My almost 3 year old survivor doesn’t like being alone and We would like to adopt ( adoption fee within reason) an older healthy chicken to keep her company. More details on request. Located near VIrginia Beach, Virginia.

I live way to far from you and I'm not wanting to rehome any hens, but I can give some advice. You can check out these two forums:

The rehoming forum.

Some people have to rehome due to personal reasons and post them here.

And the chickens 8 weeks and older.

Some sell chickens here.

Like @Pork Pie said you could go to your state thread and ask there.

If you use Facebook you could look up groups and pages for your area. I've gotten multiple things from my local group, 5 muscovies, 29 hatching eggs and two Bantam Cochins.

Hope this helps!

Bonjour :frow and welcome from France! Good luck finding a friend for your hen.

Good morning ~ sad to hear you are down to one lonely chicken and kudos to you to wanting to make her life more fulfilled:love
Have you checked Craigslist? I had some boys I needed to get rid of and looked to Craigslist for help. I was surprised at the options for pullets. Also if you are willing to drive, I know Loudonberry Farms has Black Copper Marans pullets for sale. http://loudounberryfarm.com/for-sale/french-marans-pullets
Good luck!
