Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Have you checked out your local Craigslist ads? Have you checked to see if you have local FB Poultry groups?
I picked up three pullets that had been laying about a month for $10 each to add to my flock. They were isolated from my flock 3 weeks before allowing to intermingle. After just 6 days, the new girls joined the main flock on their own. It all went rather well.

Best of luck finding what you want! I suggest adding 2 new ones if you can find them. That way, you have less chance of ending up with a single chicken again.

There is always space for members on the BYC roost! I hope you find a companion for your lonely one. There are people who threaten to slaughter older hens once they have fulfilled their purpose.
