Me, too! I only have hatchery Saipans, so would like to find a solid breeder of Saipans, Malays and Shamo to enhance the lower-quality birds that I have. They are some of the most interesting chickens we've ever owned!

So if anyone chimes in, please let me know, too!

Try looking in the sacramento craigslist under farm and garden. I have seen ads in there several times

I just found a breeder with 10 Saipan chicks 2-1/2hrs away. I'm picking them up Saturday!!!

@ Brideofchaos I have the number for a breeder that raises Oshamo,and Malays. A couple of weeks ago he had some grown Malay he was wanting to sell

a 6 hour round trip,but I came home with 8 Saipan. The breeders birds were HUGE

Talked to the breeder earlier today,he has another 8 hatched. Looks like I'm making another trip
