In the coop and run?

Hi everyone..I need your input on where I should feed my chickens. I know it sounds lame but I have food and water in both places but it seems like the food in the coop hardly ever gets touched. They do forage during the day so I am wondering if it's over kill. Thanks
 
It's really a matter of personal preference. One thing to consider with the water in the coop is that it can add humidity to the air and during the winter humidity can lead to frost bite when the temperatures drop. On the feed not being eaten, you may see a change in that when the weather changes and they start spending less time out foraging and more time inside (depending on climate)
 
Thanks so much...Maybe I will put a smaller amount of feed in there. I live in NC and the winters here are usually not that bad. Even during the day they rarely go in the coop, usually it's under the coop in the run. Thanks again...
