Hey guys. How are you all? Enjoying Australia Day long weekend?
Had a great weekend, turned another year older 🥳 dont think I am another year wiser though 🤔..our town doesnt do much for Australia Day festivities, so we just stayed in and watched the NHL All Stars weekend...(American ice hockey)

Arrr that takes me back... opening every second window, trying to get an airflow... that awful itchy blue fabric, or worse the red fake leather on the seats! And feeling the heat radiating off the kid next to you. And then there was the fancy top of the line fleet coaches reserved for the kids that lived in town and only had to be on the bus a max of 10 minutes, what's the go with that?!?

Oh yes ...totally.....We had the horrid leather seats, but none of our windows opened and no air con. And they packed that thing like a tin of sardines...if you could survive not only the stifling heat, but the smacking in the head of everyone’s back pack, you were rewarded 45 minutes later with another school day 🤣

Todays day 3 of our heat wave, 2 more to go then we drop to 30 And mornings will be in the teens. 6:22am and 31 degrees outside  (thats not an angry face.. thats just me burning up)
we are on day two of four, so half way there. we have 40c, 41c, 38, then drop to 27c.

our summers here are getting at least 6c above normal.

last summer was brutal, January was just days after days of 40c.

if we are that much above normal temps, how bad are you, out west would much hotter there.

try to stay cool and hang in there

Last summer was dreadful! Our min for 3 weeks didn't get below 35, and the day time temps were constantly 45+. So this weeks not so bad in comparision. This is days to come, yesterday was 43 and day before 42. We are normally a touch warmer then the estimate. Our normal average in Jan is 40 but keep in mind ours is dry heat so its easier to manage then if it were humid heat.
