In the JUNGLE, the mighty JUNGLE, the FOWL roosts tonight!

I recently found out that my chick that I saved months ago is a Rooster! I also found out that he is a Jungle Fowl.

I also have 3 RIR pullets getting bigger every day.

I've seen a little aggression towards the pullets before, but just casual pecking... no wounds or missing feathers yet.

The Rooster is a very handsome sweetie and only crows if one of his girls are in trouble, but I know that Jungle Fowl Roosters are sometimes used to be gamecocks because of their aggression.

It's been hard for me to find much info on the topic, so does anyone know if a Jungle Fowl rooster will be especially aggressive towards my pullets?

Oh, also I'm not planning on raising any chickies, so aggression towards offspring/young won't matter.

I'm not an expert on the breed, but I see no reason why he would be any more or less aggressive towards the hens just because of his breed. Roosters are individuals, some are good and some not so good.
