Molly watched the herd, happy that the rain had passed. She trotted over to Fang. "Did you hear the coyotes last night? We should be keeping an eye out for them."

"I did." Fang replied "you'd think they wouldn't come back after what we did to them last year, but I guess coyotes just aren't that smart."
 
"I don't know...I think the coyotes are pretty smart. Remember how they got past us and almost took down a lamb before we noticed? Also, from what I was hearing, I think these coyotes are young...the don't know us yet. Of course, if they attempt to get our herd, they're going to find out it's not going to be so easy," Molly grinned

Fang grinned back then ran off to chase a swooping hawk
 
Ivy watched a hawk in the sky coming closer and closer. such big, pretty wings Ivy thought. Suddenly Fang ran up and chased the hawk away.

"What did you do that for?" Ivy wined "it was so pretty!"

"I just saved your life." Fang replied "quit complaining." Then he walked away
