I keep thinking - all these comments about how it's already tomorrow in Australia. Why should that matter? The Mayans weren't all over the world. They only lived in one time zone, so that should be the only one that counts.

I just finished Skyping with my daughter who lives in Japan ~ it is after 2:30 am on Dec 22nd there and all is good!

Of course the Mayans live in Mexico and logic would dictate that they would base the calender on their own time zone.

And yes ~ there are still Mayans living in Mexico and they do not believe the world is going to end today!
