I used to get a lot of dollar coins, they are as fun to spend as $2 bills. People tended not to know they were real or to have ever seen them. In addition, with either dollar coins or $2 bills, they don't have a space in the register tray for those.

Sometimes getting it in, is easier then getting it out. I think they plan it that way. That way you leave it, because it's not worth the money to bring it back.
