We moved the two new pullets, Bessie and Pancho, into the big run for most of yesterday; then all day today, and this is the first night they're sleeping in the coop with the others. This evening they posed for their first family portrait. It's going well, a minimum of drama or pecking. Terooha has been watching everyone closely and keeping them in check.

For the past week they'd been in the sectioned off area behind the lattice and mesh on the left, so they could see each other and get used to each other.

We worked through most of the drama over the previous week or so, when they could see each other through the fence. There were a few pecking battles, but with the fence in the way they couldn't do any damage, and those passed quickly.
