I thought that was a pretty cool photo, there are others of one inside. Pretty.

See those photos of my Missy up there?  A terrible thing happened to her today.   She was stung by what we think, several wasps.  There was a wasp nest where she likes to lay, thinking she started to chew on it.  We found where those wasps were, under a tarp that is covering the end of a chicken run.  They love the sunflowers around there.  So, down came the sunflowers to keep them away, plus of course, the nest came down..and was soaked and stepped on.  Poor Missy is all swollen in the face, eyes, and tongue.  Really watched her.  Gave her Benedryl.  Twice now.  I think I will go to the Prednisone tonight..still swollen. My guess is she was stung, and probably ate a few.  Poor girl.  Makes me sad to see her like this.  She is eating, very carefully, and breathing fine, so won't take her to a vet, unless this swelling isn't down by tomorrow.    

Oh, how terrible! You're poor baby. Those wasps sting feels like a cigarette being put out on your skin.

Cynthia hope Missy is feeling better. Between the hot weather and bugs, it's getting harder and harder to enjoy summer.

Oh poor puppy!!! Our old man (14) got stung the other day by a red wasp. He had a bad reaction. He's still swollen, it's been over a week.

Look! I got to meet my second cousin for the first time today. His mother is in jail for running away with him. My cousin was deployed when she took off... My cousin is going to be an amazing father. He's more like a little brother than a cousin to me. We grew up in the same house. I won't name any names for legal reasons, but, here's the little cutie!!

oweeee! I hate wasps.....I know they are part of nature, but dang they hurt! I hope she gets better real soon!
