"Uncle Vanya
Pickled cucumbers" (once there were cucumbers in this jar)
One thing I'm wondering is whether this is the Russian version of "Uncle Ben`s", or "Uncle Vanya" is taken from the play of the same name by Chekhov (Russian classic writer of the 19-20th century). There was such a character, a distant relative of the landowner, serving as a manager in the village and at the farm.
Their jars are interesting, they are made in a certain artistic format, even inlaid with plant motifs.
