I start a new incubator.

The instructions say that before laying eggs, you need to turn it on and let it warm up. I turned it on and I'm waiting. True, I don’t have eggs now, but I’m waiting, because the geese walk around the nest and constantly sit there. Yesterday I found three eggs there, although they had to be eaten because they were too cold for incubation (we have a frost on the street at night, the eggs in the greenhouse cool down if they are not picked up in time).
There is a battery next to the incubator, but it is barely warm because we turned the heating system on to a barely working mode.
It's just that my house was insulated as if we were going to move it to the Arctic, so even when it's cold outside, we don't make the batteries too hot.
Therefore, the proximity of the incubator is not dangerous for him. When it gets warmer, I think we'll turn off the heating at home.
