At 16-18 they can take the falls. Most retire by 20 and get a real job. It was interesting getting to know the ins and outs of the rodeo. Those bulls work only a few seconds a month and get better healthcare and groceries than a lot of humans working manual labor jobs. I was amazed at how tame a lot of the bulls were when standing at the feed bunk waiting on grub.

Yes, I knew the rodeo stock gets taken care of really well. We're into rodeos here in Utah, especially here in our town Spanish Fork. I've been to a few. Sadly, back in the 80's while watching the Bronc riding, a young man was thrown..he just laid there and twitched. Out came the Ambulance. Never heard what happened to him. :( If they make it to 20 years of age without any broken bones, that's great.

Rodeo is the most dangerous of all sports. I'm more inclined to go fishing.
