To many of those beautiful birds were killed off so rich ladies could have the feathers for hats and such. They were heavily hunted on the east coast of FL many years ago.

You would think they would catch..get a few..let them go to..regrow.

Baby Bluebirds in a nest box I put up for them. Had 2-4 clutches a year.
