Weird. Most people up in the northwest call it soda. I've only heard older folks and people originally from the midwest ever call soda 'pop'.
I am confused. on the south and nothing like sweat tea. I am from TN and Bama and trust me we have sweat tea. Unless you mean you have never tried sweat tea until you have been to the south.Yeah they have North Carolina wrong also. Its called soda here to, then your asked what kind. But in the south there is nothing like sweet tea. above the virgina line its only unsweet and then around delaware its hot tea.
I think the poster means that we have the best sweet tea, and that is what most people drink down here. It doesn't seem to be as popular in other parts of the country.I am confused. on the south and nothing like sweat tea. I am from TN and Bama and trust me we have sweat tea. They have Texas right. But as for sweet tea. I hear all the time that all southerners love sweet tea. But I was raised by parents from TN, here in Texas, and I can't stand sweet tea, nor did I have have it served to me by any of my friend's parents sweet. It was w/out sugar and if you wanted it in there, fine. I can't stand it sweet. Well made tea isn't bitter and doesn't need sugar in it.Yeah they have North Carolina wrong also.
