Yeah, the only real advantages to the second are the 35x zoom versus 30x, and the vari-angle screen. But 30x seems just fine to me, and I've done just fine with a stationary screen all these years so it's not terribly necessary. Plus all the extra effects on the second can be done in an editing program and turn out better anyway.

I really like the face self-timer on the first, seeing as I do a lot of self photo shoots.

Yea, I bet that truck driver need new shorts. I have never actually seen chains on in Ga though today I saw a picture of a Atlanta PD car that had them on the front tires. We would have to special order winter tires here an studded tire are illegal.

When Ga talks about snow, black ice is what we are really talking about. We see snow in the grass but the roads are almost always thick ice an no snow.

I think our county has 2 plow trucks. Being a norther county an in the mountains they are loaded an spreading gravel an sand an a little salt but we dont have much. The state usually shows up with 2 or 3 so maybe 300 plow/spreader trucks to cover the whole state of Ga, state,cities an counties. So probably enough to take care of Atlanta if we sent them everything in the state.

We usually only gravel the steep grades an you are on your own everywhere else.
