I definitely don't live in the South, but I definitely heard most of these growing up! I'm gonna say it's because my mom's mother was from Texas. Lol
What southern mom tells a kid to put shoes on? Also most southern kids are more afraid of momma than daddy... Southern moms dont get switches ether, they send the kid to pick his own switch.. The rest are spot on...

I was talking to the family the other day about Mamaws use of the word yonner... I remember as a kid asking where something is an she would always respond with "in yonner." Then I would walk off still not knowing where what I was hunting was. All i know was it is not in the room she was in but yonner could be any other room in the house...

Other southern mom sayings..

I'm a gonna slap the stupid out ah you.

or

I'm a gonna slap ya stupid..

Gonna beat you like a red headed step child.

Bet dat hurt, ye-ont do-at again will ya.

There are so many odd sayings down here that we think of as normal till someone points them out to us.

Oh gee. I have not heard 'get back over here' for a while.
I had forgotten about that one.

Thats one of those statements that sound nothing like it does when you read it. I have no idea how to write it out the way its said tough. Same as running a dog off your property. No real words are used, just sounds that resemble words...
