READING IS FUN!! Haven't you ever watched "Reading Rainbow." My son and I participated in their fund raiser and will be getting our "rewards" next month.

Every time I think of them I hear their theme song -"Butterfly in the sky........"

At least they are reading at all. My oldest used to read the Auto swapper or we couldn't get him to read at all. He would just walk away at reading time and go grab one instead of listening to the story. His teacher made sure to always have a copy in her desk. No, it wasn't the best choice, but he reads now without fighting us. His sister can't read enough. I was reading at 2 1/2. My mom couldn't read so I taught her. She's very proud of that story. Me? I have no idea how I learned to read.

But, I've never stopped.
