Thank you guys for your words of support. Most of the other threads are "call that a chicken, I would cull it" or "my opinion is this and if you don't agree I will get stroppy" but going on here is like speaking to family.

Birdman I checked out your thread re: building paradise - you have some gorgeous birds. I am really surprised how tame your pheasants are. Maybe people will start having "house pheasants" though the long tail could be a problem.

Love the peafowl!!! I would love to have some but they would have to free range and my hubby has classic cars, sooooo, not a good combo since they enjoy sitting on top of things.
