wow that's so pretty...I love florida...have you been to the alligator alley and traveled north about half way thru and went on the air boat that takes you out there and feeds the gators ....wow that was so much fun...I miss florida

Did you notice the water? It was about 80 degrees and we had to keep the pace rather brisk because the mosquitoes were... awful.

I remember a tropical botany class that I took in the everglades. Our professor had pulled off to the side of the road and jumped out with a 'follow me!" but before we unbuckled our seat belts the van windows were black with mosquitoes drooling against them.

..there was a botanical mutiny of sorts.

But no snow. so..you know. it's good.
How are the pens coming along?

I have been sick for 3 days now. The flu that is going around has nothing in common with what was in the shot this year so like most years it is a scam...

They do their best to predict many months in advance which strain will take hold each year, and develop, produce and distribute the appropriate vaccine. Some years they hit closer than others. Some years multiple strains will take off, and the vaccine might hit one and miss another. I always get the shot and usually I'm lucky, but it probably helps to be anti-social; avoid people and I'll avoid exposure.

Honey and onion juice!! it keeps the cough down and air ways open and those annoying people away.

Honey and onion juice? How do you juice an onion?

Whiskey an rock candy or whiskey an honey is the normal cure here but I dont have any whiskey. I dont really drink. I have a history of seizures too that pop up when I am sick so I never drive when I am sick. So going to get stuff is out.

Being part of EMS I would always catch the flu way before the shot was offered. My grandmother does not believe in them anyway so no one in my family have taken a flu shot in something like 20 years.
