Oh my goodness! This is more what she looked like when I started riding her, and, she was also a retired parade horse! Made all the parades in the small town of Mapleton back in the 60's. She was a bit bigger, but her back was starting to dip like that. And yes, that's just how I rode her. I let he gallop as fast as she wanted..which was different on different days. Her head was a bit shorter too. Loved that horse.

I have heard of brood mares having a good twenty foals by the time they are in their late twenties...

That poor pit bull, isn't that 'cruel and unusual" punishment? I think they are trying to imitate Sharkey the famous- gentle pit bull. I don't think those pictures prove anything for that poor pittie , except that his owners are kind of dotty.
