Hey Jan, I found another one of those orchard bees, but this guy was pretty tame. I got him on a leaf, for a real close up. That's my dirty fingernail, was working in the garden. They really are tiny.

There are some cool blue ones too.

They get caught in the cobwebs in our barn.

Oh, Nicky,
I noticed my thyme is blooming too. I need glasses to ID all the things buzzing around the parsley blooms, I took my camera, but started working and forgot to take pictures. I will try to remember tomorrow.

Today I worked on my garden gate.
It Is going to be the coolest gate ever.
I will post a picture for sure.

And we caught the raccoon. Whew.
I am glad it is gone!!

Thank goodness! Those are a chickens nightmare. The raccoons around here are mean.

I call that, "I got distracted." Don't feel bad, I do it all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing those pictures! My boxwood are in bloom. Both the bumble bees and honey bees are happy. I enjoy sitting out watching them work.

All it ate were earthworms, and riffled through my plants- but it was starting to encroach on our hen house, and I was worried for my bees.
I love my bees.

We do have something out here called an "Emerald ash borer," I've never seen any but, I imagine they are emerald colored. They are really devastating tons of ash trees.
