You got a ready made dog - all growed up - has he doing in his new home?

He's an adult puppy. GSD about 10-12 months old. Found starved and dirty. He's a sweetheart. Knows commands in Spanish. Plays fetch like a champ. Comes home tomorrow to meet the rest of the furry and feathered family. He has to get neutered tomorrow, so, I opted to pick him up after surgery rather than wake up at three and make the drive to drop him off at seven. Then I would've had to find eight hours of something to do. I'll pull weeds and play with birds to pass time.

He is filthy. So when his stitches come out he has an appointment with the groomer. I spent years looking for a replacement to my chance. Never found one. He found me. Long story short I made the drive to that shelter and talked to the right person at the right time. He had hours left at that shelter the way they b played it to me.

My DH's favorite breed. He is beautiful. One lucky dog. Will be loved for sure!
