And this is not a flower, of course, but this book marks the end of a 6 year hunt... Finally it rests in my collection. I have been searching for that book for forever.. Lol. Aldo Leopold, the man the myth and the legend is the reason I decided to pursue a career in some sort of environmental science.. And Leopold himself didn't start out in conservation.. He began with a Degree in Forestry at Yale. This book, Aldo Leopold his Life and Works is a very in depth biography by Curt Meine, and i'm very excited to finally own it and be able to read it on my own terms!! :D

Oh I love these little critters......we have them here in PA! I was so astounded the first time I saw one....I'm originally from NC and don't ever remember seeing them, but when I moved up here I thought it was some kind of genetically modified bee! LOL.....
