Cynthia, that must have been scary for the passengers. You never know if those threats are real or someone just taking advantage of circumstances for their own thrill.

I'm a neat freak and like things in their place, I'm not saying everything is super clean at mine as most things have dog hair on :oops:
Can never seem to get on top of that, the more I vac the more they drop!!

Very scary stuff, I bet they were worried too. Really makes you think about safety. My son who is 13 nearly 14 has just started taking an interest in the news and all the things that are happening around the world have him worried.
I just can't get my head round these people who are creating world wide fear for everyone with their warped views.

I have a hard time understanding it too YC. No matter that I've read explanations before, somehow, it still doesn't make sense to me. But then, I've never understood random violence...if you have a grudge against an individual that's one thing, but to blindly strike out against people that have never done you harm? I don't get it.

When my boys first started getting interested in news events and all the bad stuff out there, I would try to help them find instances of good news to try to counter-balance things.
 
I don't watch the news because I think it's biased. We don't have TV. We live way out in the country surrounded by cows and farmers. By the time the chaos gets this far, we will have heard about it from the birds.

My husband, a Marine, has hair standing on the back of his neck ready to reenlist.
 
We haven't had tv for over 2 years now. But of course, there's always the 'net.
