He's 14. Looks much better than he moves. There are days we have to get him to his feet.

We had a Great Dane like that. He'd layout in the yard and we'd have to go out and help him with his hindquarters to get up to his feet. He just couldn't get up from a sitting position he'd get so embarrassed, he couldn't look us in the eyes. His name was Macho. After the hit song, "Macho, Macho man." We grew up with him and he was more of a sibling the a dog. He lived 8 years. Too soon in my book. So I feel ya! :hugs

I could talk about the things he has accomplished all day.

Reminds me of a buddies dog , Morgan , his legs eventually gave out at thirteen years of age , sadly he had to be put down .Was a duck dog who even though he could not go anymore he would do his hardest to try to get up , tail wagging , grey muzzle pleading , but legs just not working ...........beautiful picture , brought back a memory .........thanks
