Here's another from the same cemetery in Genoa, Italy. While the dirt looks dramatic, it damages the surface of the marble. Careful restoration is necessary to ensure these will survive the centuries.
I hope some more of you will lie and share our FB page with your friends- we need to get the word out and gain more traction, so we can continue our restoration efforts.
