I wear a coat in summer, so It is easy to spot the true Floridian.

Thats me. I remember wearing a leather jacket at temps over 100 as a teen. Its 75 in my office right now an I have a jacket an heater on.

We have two elderly ladies who wear hooded coats all year through - and especially the hottest days of summer95 ++. I would think they would melt. I can't tolerate temps much above 70 unless there are cooling winds.

I have a narrow window for being comfortable temp-wise. Below 68* I get cold. Above 85* I get hot. Can't say that I like either one of them...drives DH nuts with me fiddling with the thermostat all the time.

That's kind of a shocking contrast. Looks like about a million hours worth of work to do all that.

Can't you just see somewhere down the road the house is sold and new owners come in and rip it all out?

Oh man, I hope not! She has probably got millions in antiques alone. Not sure about everything else..this has to go to family..surely? I wouldn't want to live in the waaaay past like that. I'm not into that fancy stuff..just call me the old fashion country girl.

Yeah, it's kind of heavy and dark for my tastes but very well done for the style.

Even without wanting to live that way, it's still impressive. Glad you shared the link!
