In the Police Academy movies he played Sgt. Larvelle Jones.
He is also famous for playing the radar guy in Spaceballs.
He did lots of other stuff to including being the voices for the gremlins. He is still making movies an doing stand-up comedy...

I am 35 years old. I at that time lived in a military town (my father served as a lieutenant colonel there), there was a club, there was a large TV, and the only one in the village VCR. Movies came very disgusting quality on some сhinese copied cassettes. Naturally, all this was without a license - that is stolen. Translation into Russian read some guy with a stuffy nose, it is often quite impossible to understand what he says. But the movie was fun and everybody was watching.
With license in Russia all the time there were some oddities, there were cases when here came the movies that have not even passed the official show. It seems that after the KGB was disbanded, all the scouts and spies rushed to steal the movies.To be honest, I still preserved these tapes, many of which are more than 25 years, a large closet. Naturally, all this is most likely illegal, but I do not spread - they just kept as the books, and they are sometimes made to look.
