Gorgeous gardenia! This winter was so mild that for the first time ever in my life our gardenia bloomed all year.
But you impatient?
one of these? awesome!
I always think of that word with this flower, It takes the edge off. Instead of frustration and stomping feet I think 'shady lovely flowers'.

Oh my goodness..these grow..without you replanting? Not here. I remember my mother's always looked so awesome. I have tried..on the North side of my house. Bought them from a nursery then planted, waited, they finally did a little growth, but not like my mothers. Hers would grow into big bundles of beautiful colors like yours.
 
unfortunately, these type have developed a systemic virus and they are no longer thriving in Florida like they used to, we now grow sun-patients, which are okay.

They are nice, but they are not delicate and gentle. They are more like those bodybuilders with muscles in their eye lids.
