The repair was done because the old floor was wooden and for 20 years it completely rotted because of water leaks. In those days in Russia it was generally very difficult to buy a normal plumbing, the pipe market for cottages was completely empty, the industry focused only on urban apartments and on rural houses with wells (without water supply systems). And I was too young (I was still in school) and I was a very bad plumber )))
Now, of course, much easier - I have a welding machine for steel pipes and a soldering iron for polypropylene pipes. And then it was at the level of some garden hoses connected by wire. It was 20 years ago.
