It's been 5 years since I've sat here. Was very satisfying to do it again this evening as we pulled the 66 out of it's cocoon to get it back on the road.

Amusingly, the Oil stain in the foreground is from my CURRENT daily, which has a leaky drain plug that will also be getting corrected this weekend.

Hey, I drove one of those in the 70's. Wasn't mine, it was an Aunt and Uncle's. I visited in California..they let me drive it around while there. Fun little thing. It was that blue/green color.

What a cool little bug. Looks a lot like the one the hubby restored back in the 90's. We had a blast putting that little cutie back on the road. Drove it to work one day and hit a deer. I wasn't going fast enough to do much damage but the deer didn't fare so well.
