Oh boy, clouds today. When it finally warmed up here, told hubby we would be wishing for rain again. I'm ready. I just don't do heat anymore, I mean, I really don't do well. Bummer too..I used to love the summer! Glad to see some tomatoes and yellow squash coming on. My roses did well..time to trim them back now. Here is a photo of them when the yellows were doing well, now the reds are finishing up. Not really red...tell me what you would call this color?

Coral? The whole side is full now. The first time they came out separate times. It's pretty when they all bloom at once. Not sure if I shared the bee photos. They love the roses.

My wife has been cultivating milkweed for a few years, this year we're starting to see a number of monarchs. YAY

When we first moved out here almost 50 years ago, monarchs would just cover a tree at the end of our street. I had never seen anything like that then, or since. I wondered why they picked our area to take a breather. Wish I had the brains to take photos. Duh!

It has to be miraculous that such fragile creatures could make the long flight to Mexico
